How Speed Dating Works

Step 1 - Register for FREE to View Events in your area and age group

Register with letsspeeddate.blogspot.com, then simply choose an event in your area that suits your timetable and preferences. Once payment is made your seat is reserved.

Step 2 - Meet your host at the venue to receive further instructions

Your host will be obvious once you enter the venue. They will check you off the attendees list, issue you with your drink vouchers and give you your name tag. Relax, grab a drink and mingle with your new Speed Dating friends.

Step 3 - Date your 10 to 12 singles for 5 minutes each

The fun begins after a short introduction from the host and a rundown of the very simple rules. The ladies remain seated, and the guys spend 5 minutes with each lady before a timer goes off, and the next place is taken. After meeting 5 or 6 singles - we break for half-time drinks & toilet breaks for 15 minutes, before starting the process again for the final phase.

At the end of the night you have met 10 to 12 singles in your age group and had the opportunity to indicate on a private "score-card'' your interest in meeting them again (by simply choosing yes/no in private). The Confidential Score Cards are collected by the host at the end of the night.

Step 4- Check your email

The matching process is automatically calculated within 48 hours of the event. Your match results are then sent to your nominated email address. By default, only your email address will be disclosed to your Mutual Matches - if an email address is not available for a member, a mobile number will be provided.
