Meet, Mingle & Match - the report

Like any another event, I was rather panicky before the event started. Thanks to my friend, host & coordinator Farah, things went on smoothly. A couple glasses of wine helped to ease the tense as well.

The guest had started to mingle even before we started the games, and I said to Farah, "looks like half the job is done". We were worried that people will be sitting in their little groups within their comfort zones. Unfortunately that did not happens, and people were mingling like no tomorow. The only grouping was, smokers and non-smokers.

Guys and gals ... look out for the next event on 7th Sept 2006 at the attic, with new games, prizes, door gifts and faces. The first 30 single to arrive at the door will receive a free gym pass worth RM 65 each.

So guy and gals, please use the Starlight Cinema tickets before it expires.

Wholesome meal, beautiful people

The night was rather bright, compared to any other night. I was early, it must be the unwritten new year resolution. Usually, I will arrive after one or two participants.

As the sky begin to darken, three beautiful girls walked in. It made me smile, as some individuals put effort into the night.

Then two men, and i refuse to use the word gentleman, as they are not, walked in a bit later. We exchanged a few sentences, and they stated their disappointment. The cause of their disappointment was clear, "the girls were not of the same religious background". How narrow minded can they be? Or am I just too liberal? My response, was simple, "please respect my guest, they made a lot of effort to be here and they are sincere". They left, and I was glad.

The numbers were not great on that night, but I sensed happiness through the smiling faces.

Oh, Julian, thanks for the fabulous meal !
